QuiteFrankly: Lust's Demon Slayed
We live inside of one big, non-stop, yoga-pants-wearing distraction.
How To Kill a Demon
The only way to "kill" a demon is to be so in-line with your identity as God's Child within the Father that your being cannot fathom housing anything that is not like the Son. At that point it will flee from you.
Many are under the impression that the Devil is opposed to God. This is erroneous. The Devil is a created being, YHWH is NOT. The true counterpart of the Devil would be Arch-Angel Michael. Yeshua being the WORD made flesh is above the Devil. Once you believe your nature is the same as Yeshua's, you will have authority over all of creation to include Demons. *
Not by Your Own Authority
However, that authority is NOT your own, nor is it Yeshua's, as Yeshua only did what he saw the Father do... it is an acquiescence and submission to the Creator of the Universe so he may impart His nature, the same nature He gave his Son, into you... THAT is YOUR INHERITANCE! There is nothing for you to do other than to believe this FACT! Yeshua died as Man so Man may be imparted with [a greater] nature than Adam had before the fall.
Lust is a huge distraction as it results from the curse. Man, without the Father, does NOT have control over his sexual organs, nor any hope of "controlling" them. At the fall, Adam separated his spirit from his mind, mind without the spirit cannot rightly lead the Flesh, because it is not in line with the intent of the way the Father created us.
In a hypersexualized society it is nearly impossible to overcome the Flesh, because it is one where the focus is on that which is directly opposed to the intent of the Father.
I pray that your body be in the Son, as the Son is in the Father
The Body
If Yeshua was the WORD made flesh, the Creator of All Things, the Life Giving Spirit of the Father, by which we were made to be a "Living Soul", then the Ruach HaKodesh (Holy Spirit) is the breath the Father used in forming the WORD, which is the Son. As we believe in the Son, his nature of being a life giving spirit elevates what we are beyond our own nature to that of the Father, whose name was given to the Son. It is this belief that separates Christianity from all other religions in the world.
The power of the Gospel is to walk in belief of your own healing, by which there is only light; because darkness cannot be found in the Son, it can no longer be found in you; this belief allows for the Spirit to have a target within your being so the Father, the Ancient of Days, Creator of all things, may impart his nature within yours, to be like the Son, which is why Yeshua considers us to be his brothers and sisters.
Bearing Your Cross
One thing to keep in mind on the bearing of one's cross is that not even the Son was able to do it completely under his own strength while a man, and relied on Simon (Mat 27:32, Mar 15:21, Luk 23:26) to help him finish carrying the Cross to Golgatha.
I believe this to be a revelation of the "Body of Christ" which you are also a part of... We, being in His body, are of Him, and through us participating with Him on the cross are reminded to lean on each other in times of need so the will of the Father may be completed.
Helmet of Salvation
In Ephesians, many speak of putting on the full armor of God. The part that has always been an issue for me is the Helmet of Salvation (Yeshua), being the mind of Christ, which is to be of service to others; for how is it possible to have the mind of a servant if there is only one's self to serve? If the Mind of service, serves the body, under the authority of His Spirit, then the Body may be as the Son is... this is why individual sovereignty is a Farce... there will only be one Man to have that Authority contained within himself; the rest of us are to be guided and led by the Spirit of the Father to be in "Perichoresis" with His Son...
By being a servant willing to take up his own cross you will realize that you are unable to bear that weight upon your own shoulders, by yourself, it is only possible with the help of others in the Spirit, and by impartation of an understanding of the Father's nature within yourself;… surrender the idea of bearing the load yourself and submit to the One that has already died for your "sin" so that He may impart his mark upon your heart for the Spirit to work through and provide revelation.
No Man an Island
No man is an island, and no man is meant to bear his cross alone, but in family and fellowship with others, to the Glory and Goodness of the Father as his "People" on this Earth to the renewal of all things.
Selah. Amen
